Parents have always tried and will always do their best to keep their child safe but also teach them valuables lessons in life. Even if it means that the parent themselves have to let the child they love fall a couple of times, supporting them, or simply giving them advice. At times we look at our parents and see all the mistakes they have made, feel love towards them, feel anger towards them, feel like they are suffocating you, or whatever you are feeling towards them certain days. Yes not all parents are great, not all parents are together, not all parents want their child, but there is always a mother or father figure in each child life. I am one of those lucky ones that have both my mother and father together for about 26 years now. Throughout the years I couldn’t for the life figure out why they were so strict with me but now I do. One lesson that I have learned from my parents is that they love me and only want the best for me in life. This is important because at first when I was younger and into my teens I always thought they were out to get me or didn’t want to have a life. Now I see that was a lie. They let me make my mistakes and learn from them. But they never let me fall too far and always caught me when I was down. For this I love them. They showed me that to love someone I first have to love myself and put myself first. This is the biggest blessing I have even had. The loved they showed me I am able now to pass down to those I care and hopefully my future children. But remember always loves those who are kind to you and always remember your parents or parent figure will always LOVE you and have your best interest at heart. That is the biggest lessened I learned from them LOVE.
Remember be weird, be you, be happy
